Hey Dave,
How does the 921-M compare with the N075?

Very similar. I need more time with both before being conclusive. I keep gravitating to the H plate and should use those 2 some more to compare. I'm sure others have had more time with both and should chime in.

Razor: Yates Precision 921-H Plate (V2 Top Cap)
Blade: Wizamet (3)
Brush: Rubberset 400, Clouds Ferrule, WD Silvertip
Soap: PannaCrema Nuavia Rossa
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: Ethos Mysore Santal SFS Dragonsbeard

Another great shave with the "H" Plate that keeps surprising me on how smooth and efficient it is. I'll probably send it on to Frank to give a try now. Also love the huge rinse channels on the baseplate that make cleaning/rinsing a breeze.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend.

Fedsbackhand I'll get the metric equivalents on the website ASAP. I'm an imperial guy, but I could see how having that information available would be useful. Exposure on the H Plate is .003"-.005" (.076mm-.127mm). I tend to not advertise the value of the exposure, because many variables can affect this number. Depending on the manufacturer of the blade, the widths can vary slightly which will directly affect exposure. Also, when you're getting down to these small of values, the machining process itself can cause the exposure to fluctuate, as no process is perfect and there is variation in everything. That's why I prefer to just list it as positive, and why I gave a range versus a hard number. Hope that helps!

Thanks Jake. I'm over in Europe and don't really use imperial at all, sorry.

Absolutely, a range is still helpful and gives an idea (but not the whole story) on how the plate matches up with other razors.

Great pic Dave, I love the hybrid as my daily driver so smooth even with a feather or Black ninja and still gives great results.

Thank you Mark. Every time I use the Yates with either plate I'm impressed with the smoothness and efficiency. I keep saying tomorrow I'll try some other razors for fun.......... tomorrow never seems to come.....

That brass handle sure looks great! A whole brass razor would sure look sharp.
