I do like my RazoRock SLOC.

When you do blade buffing (without lifting the blade) it does a good job of dragging the lather back over the same spot.

For sure. It is the Yaqi Mellon V1.

I'm more interested in V2 experience.
Better in comparison with V1.
Very tempted!!!

When I tried the V1 some time ago I was expecting an efficient shave but it was very mild. It was too mild to use despite its double comb threatening appearance. I hope this version works out for you and you can share your experience.

The stainless steel mellon head has 12 teeth and a gap of .40. Appears that also the arch and blade clamping is different on the stainless. Plus it a a bit wider. Not sure if it covers the blade. So in a nutshell appears they did not just model the zamak version into stainess. The zamak mellon head has a .25 gap. , thirteen teeth (as the sloc) blade over hang...
I think the stainless looks interesting but at 46 US bucks it looses my interest quick.......ya ya it is polished but still 46....hard pass...
