Just received my wunderbar today. Even with just one shave I am very impressed. I found it to be a smooth and efficient razor. I read some reviews where guys complained it was too aggressive, I had no such experience. In fact I found it effortless, the razor did all of the work. Definetly worth the wait.

Got mine today and took it for a one pass spin. Great shave, smooth and close with zero irritation. Fantastic build quality. try it with a Feather and you will not be disappointed. Also got the Razorock Tech11. But that is for another day.

I always use a gillette platinum, gave my feathers away. I agree zero irritation. I had a great shave out of the box.

Only tip I give with the Wunderbar is ZERO PRESSURE, most experienced guys do this intuitively, if you do this, shaves are amazing.

Only had one shave with it so far but am impressed. Nice solid looking and feeling razor. Knurling is a bit prickly, but nothing bad. During the shave it felt as if the razor might get aggresive, except it doesn't: it always stayed on the nice side. It is rather silent, but the acoustic feedback is not missed. Gives a nice deep shavein a rather easy manner.
The RR37 is basically a 3-piece Merkur37c immitation, or a Merkur 36 with a thicker handle, except less well finished. Not bad, but why copy someone elses still-in-production razor? This Wunderbar however does stand its own ground. Build-quality, finishing, design and shavingproperties do convince. I always use the Merkr 37/39 as a baseline, and this razor may not be better, but certainly is not worse. I like this razor.
