Thank you so much for your reply and recommendation. I'm not brand new wet shaver actually, I've been using DE for close to a year now, and cartridge for a year before that.I have to say that the sailor is the most aesthetically pleasing razor for me. But the main deterrent is the price and wait time. I would reconsider it, it's just so beautiful.

Thanks so much for your reply and recommendation. I noticed that DB is also pre-ordered, did you know how long the waiting time is for it?

10-12 weeks is what I was told.  That said, that was about 3 weeks ago.
Not to confuse you even more, but the Lambda Athena and Ares meet your criteria.
RAD is just a permanently temporary condition.  I'll get over it.. eventually.

Thanks so much for your reply and recommendation! Not a short wait. I've actually heard of Lambda Athena & Ares. But Athena seems to be out of stock a lot. I'm not too sure about their features.

One of the most under-rated DE shavers is the Merkur Futur. If this was from a niche brand, I can imagine everyone in awe of the snap-on cap and the fact that it's an adjustable. It's also a very affordable $80.

Another excellent shaver is the RazoRock Hawk V3 SE razor. It uses the wider and more study SE blades, I like the Feather Professional which is a blend of superb sharpness and a little smoothness. The great thing about these SE blades is you dial-in aggression through your blade selection, not the physical blade gap of the razor. If you shave only twice a week, you could also go the Feather Professional Supers. The Hawk is SS, and made in Canada which is a bonus.

Rocnel Sailor is SS so it must be quite heavy. Wonder how large the head is - seems like it may be a challenge to shave under the nose. The MC 100% titanium is way out of my budget.

In any event my DB should be completed soon so I can see how it shaves. I sold all my WR1 & WR2s.

Thanks for the reply. I recently got my first wr2 1.35. maybe I'll want the sailor for the next one too, but it's really too expensive (titanium)
