Thanks LOOT
Seems heavy for bronze

Per James

Wr4 head weights by material

SS 21g
Titanium 11g
Bronze 20g
Copper 24g

I’m sure the XL non hollow is what’s driving the weight up which many prefer.  I prefer light. My hollow bronze 98mm wrh7 is like 70 grams.  My ti 98mm wrh7 is 50 grams-ish going off memory.

Hollow handles are not available with dark bronze finish.

So, the 1.50 came today and I had a shave with the SB plate late this afternoon. Absolutely loved it in use. A lot more blade feel but retains the famous Wolfman smoothness. Now keep in mind that I have every WR2 gap from 1.25 all the way up to 1.85 in various metals. I had 3.5 days of growth and used one of the new Mallard soaps from Mohammad at Grooming Dept for an absolutely phenomenal shave! Used a Jurgen Hempel stainless handle with that aluminum head. I could have stopped after the first pass but did my usual 3 pass shave. I was more careful this time around because it does look intimidating in pics but this one is definitely a keeper and I will probably order an SB 1.50 in titanium and an OC 1.30 in stainless depending on how I feel after my next shave which will be with the OC 1.50. James sent the head with both plates at that gap. This may be James’ best razor that he has ever created in my humble opinion! Tried to include some pics with the original prototype head at .77 gap and the 1.50 head. The original .77 is on the WRH7 handle and the 1.50 is on the WRH4 handle. Both handles are titanium.

Looks stunning with this big 1.5 gap! I will still go with a .9 Gap even if this 1.5gap looks fun. I still have to decide which handle I will choose. Wrh3 or wrh4

I took a few pictures with the prototype head to help decide on the handle

The .7 ti and .6 bronze are on their way! Though george1906 1.50 gap is giving me a major inferiority complex.

Did James do away with single razor orders recently or just special connections with him? Just wondering.

.60 or .70 is a perfectly fine gap, for me anyway, based off the prototype.

Means you can vary the efficiency and blade feel with blade choice. The WR4 is the one Wolfman I'm less concerned about landing the perfect gap. I'm about to pay for a .70 SB/.60 OC combo. Two baseplates, not razors.

Doesn’t hurt to ask. That said I’ve ordered thousands through his shop and skipped my last order with an intent to double order. I’m sure it’s all based on his production schedule, and required effort.

I don’t need two at one time! I was just wondering if he had done away with the one per order for all customers. I have no issues with someone getting more than one at a time!

I was told by James that he wouldn't do this in the past, has he changed his mind or is this something special he's doing for just the WR4 now?
