What are the specs of your future WR3?  Mine's going to be brushed SS open comb with a 1.00 gap

I had loaned to me the .23 OC Prototype and it was smooth and a good shave. I figured a .50 OC would be to my liking more. I daily shave so don't need a wider gap for thicker hair.

Bet you don't even need the .50 Dave

.35 and .40 open combs are fine for daily shaves

.50 bumps up the exposure from the prototype:

.25 = 0 MILD
.30 = 0.025
.35 = 0.05
.40 = 0.07 STANDARD GAP
.45 = 0.10
.50 = 0.12
.60 = 0.15 EFFICIENT

You're probably right. I hadn't seen the exposure settings before so was guessing. Thanks for posting this. The Prototype was good but not quite where I'd like it, I bet .35 - .40 would be perfect.

My last WR4 is a 1.25 SB and I got a 1.20 OC plate with it but that set is in Nickel. Phenomenal razor!
