I would like to try a straight, but I prefer the little bit of training wheels some of these DE's.  Straights don't seem as forgiving and my mind is prone to wander.  I'll keep a small guard...and my flesh thanks.

I don't care to learn how to maintain a straight either.  Plus, with my tastes in gear, I couldn't afford to walk that road.  Alex Jacques caught my eye.  I'd like to drive one of his razors one day.

SE is another one I refuse to go down.

Thanks Ivan!

I suspect those are just the back-ups.

Of the back-ups.

Finally get to see what the wrh2 knurling looks like on a wrh7.

Now Im wondering how the wrh1 knurling would look on a wrh2 handle.

I dunno. New gear, different blades, etc. I've gotten to the point that I'm done chasing "the next best thing". I really doubt an SE could be better than what I have. If it is, ignorance is bliss.

It's time to settle in and enjoy 2 years worth of work. That's why I posted the pictures.

There are a couple of new razors I'll add when available. I'm stoked about the Janus. I hope that one comes together well. I'm a huge Toggle fan, you just can't open one up far enough.

Those of you with multiple versions and plates how do you think the lightweight aluminum Lupo shaves regarding its gap ? It’s a fraction of the cost and may or may not be a copy if not an “inspiration” of a Wolfman so where does it fit in regarding efficacy or smoothness among the real Wolfmans ? Remember once upon a time one could get a Wolfman in other metals including Aluminum, Brass etc.

Personally I ordered the Lupo and didn’t connect with it at all and also didn’t enjoy the shave contrary to what others have experienced with it and not trying to be a razor snob but to me when I compared it to the WR1 .61 DC it fell far short of that gap in all areas and again it’s personal preference but I’m not a fan of any aluminum razor I’ve ever tried. Even a blue anodized Aluminum Wolfman Guerrilla I tried to like very much as it looked really cool.
So I guess I’m not the right person to ask as I sold my Lupo at record speed after using it twice.

So far I had been using Wizamets in my wr2 .95 and enjoying the results. I tried a Feather in it today and it was really very nice.
