It looks like I have to wait for my new 1.35 some time yet and times when was enough to pick handle and James wrote back if you want to have whole razor ended up. I wrote to James but no reaction. Is frustrating when you miss "The Minute" within three weeks. Twice frustrating is when you have razor in basket but you can´t end up your order but three times frustrating is when your order is confirmed and then canceled ...

Don´t get me wrong, I m not complaining. Just want to share my experience with those who wasn´t successful. Perhaps next time. I had to improve my mood so I bought another razor and asked my friend if he can send me on loan his razor which is sold out and he said yes … Life is beautiful again. Happy Sunday to all.

by "I want a completely different order".
What I thought he meant to that phrase was, possibly he wanted to just move on to the next order.  Hopefully my understanding was wrong.

Q1a. Your drops are over in under a minute, so most people rush through them in a blind panic and sometimes mistakes are made: handles are forgotten, gaps are wrongly picked etc. In the past, customers could email you with their order no. and correct such mistakes. I have heard you no longer entertain any such emails and only fulfil what is stated on the original order...how would you deal with a genuine customer mistake or oversight during checkout ? When customer requests a modification, where do you draw the line?

James' Answer: "This issue is a combination of technical stuff with the website and somewhat gaming the system from a customer point of view. There are mild corrections that are understandable, such as "I wanted a stand with this order, please add this" to more questionable "I want a completely different order". The latter is what I would say is no longer acceptable. I'd rather just cancel the order and let someone else go ahead. Especially when scalpers are factored into this, which doesn't help at all to sort this out."

My interpretation: I think it makes for a much faster checkout to choose just a part...and then make up the deficit via email later. That's a tempting option. Maybe this is what he means when he says 'gaming the system from a customer point of view'. I guess, moving forward, one has to capture their order as accurately as possible...then, if necessary, be contrite and hope for the best.

PS. I hope Ramzy2001 heard back fm James...I think he may be a bit more lenient towards a first time customer...
No actually I have not heard from him, I was expecting an email from him to explain the situation but so far... nothing

Is that the brushed finish or did he polish it for you? Extra $ to polish?

After Tester28´s post I wrote one more email to James. This time I wasn´t asking for new razor just described what happened during checkout process. James answered me today (my local time) - his website tech support did identify the problem and he will process my order manually and confirmed me WR2 SB 1.35 mirror polished head. Woohoo.

Today I completed my WR2 Adjustable.  Left to right:

1.15SB in brushed Titanium on a WRH7XL
1.25SB in polished Titanium on a WRH7XL based Hybrid with WRH2 knurling
1.35SB in brushed Titanium on a WRH7XL based Hybrid with standard knurling
1.45SB in mirror S.St'l on a 100mm solid WRH1
1.55SB in brushed Titanium on a WRH3XL with a single patch of WRH2 knurling.  I'd never seen this handle before but assumed I'd like the larger dia.  It's money.

Today. I took receipt of my 1.55Ti (far right) today.  Of course I'd been eagerly awaiting it's arrival with 5 days growth.  I used a fresh Feather blade and can say, the 1.55 does maintain head smoothness.  Blade feel and efficiency are increased over the 1.45.  It's noticeable, which is odd because I generally feel like the Ti lose a little bit of efficiency to the SS razors so I wasn't really expecting much efficiency increase.  It's there tho.  I will say, even with that gap, it's forgiving.  I laid it on my neck wrong, under my ear, and was certain I'd cut myself.  I got too high on my lower lip and again, knew there'd be blood.  Nope.  Really surprising.  I didn't dance around it, I drove it like I would a 1.25 and the 1.55 minded it's manners.  It's a keeper.  I intend to run the 1.55 daily for a week or so.  I've no idea why, other than science.  There likely won't be a lot of growth tomorrow so I'll likely limit it to 1.5 passes.

The second photo is my humble den, as of today.  Only two artisans. I'll likely add Blackland Razors  Shane's new Tradere razors when they come out...and maybe a Janus.  It's taken many, many months of very hard work to put those razors on the shelf but the fruits of the effort have totally been worth it. *LOOT reaches around and gives his own self a big pat on the back*
