That is precisely why I got my DC on a BST before confirming my order when the time comes.
For daily shaves I can't see the point of dual gaps, much prefer to have two razors SB and OC if I want both combs. Otherwise I end up using it as a single edge.
I sold all my CG dual combs in the end.

Different strokes for different folks. When I first heard of DC I thought it was a strange concept. Then I read of using the OC for the first WTG, and the SB for the clean up ATG. That intrigued me and I got a .74 WR1 DC on ebay. A great razor IME.

The first opportunity I had to order directly from James I chose a DC WR2 1.15 OC/1.25 SB with a long hollow WR7. Great razor ! Next a WR1 DC .94. Good razor.

This using them as aforementioned above. The OC for the first pass, the SB for the second. Figuring the OC is more aggressive/efficient than the gentler SB. Works for me. YMMV.  Smile

If I didn't shave everyday then yes combined OC and SB would be an option.

Personally I prefer to use the OC for all passes, if the OC is too aggressive then I'd rather have a milder OC. Or just use the SB.

I’ve never used a DC, but I don’t think I would like it because I would have to rinse more. I like using both sides before I rinse.

I know what you mean. I got so used to using DCs, and rinsing one side ... that if I'm using an SB or an OC I have to remind myself in the midst of the shave that I can use both sides before I have to rinse ...  Rolleyes

Interesting, so on the WR2 would you say the 1.15 OC side is equivalent to the 1.25 SB side?

I am about to get my 2nd Wolfman. I will have a WR2 in SB dual gaps and a WR1 in OC dual gaps. I think of it as a 4 razor equivalent — 4 for the price of 2!

I really think that it is. I may be kidding myself. If you have time to waste, and looked at some of my past posts, I've asked this question more than once, of whether the OC gap is equivalent to the next highest SB gap.

Karve's website says that it is. That is the first time I considered it. So experimenting with the 1.15/1.25 I think that it is, but it is subjective ... YMMV ...  Rolleyes
