I am on the waiting list for WR2 and am looking at an 8 - 10 month wait. I ordered a basic stainless with a 1.15 gap, but that was merely a guess on my part. Maybe you all could help me find the right gap.

I shave daily. I currently have a muhle r89 and it give a close shave, but is perhaps too mild. 3-4 passes for DFS. Also have an r41 which is a tad harsh for my face. Recently acquire a RR Game Changer .84, and that gave me the closest BBS shave I have had to date. Very comfortable shave, but a little irritation after 4-5 straight days of use. Also have a Charcoal lvl 2 which also gives me a comfortable BBS, very comparable to the Game Changer. So I'm wondering what a comparable blade gap would be good for the WR2?

While I expect to receive my 1.55 within a week or two, my favorite gap is the 1.25. I have a 1.15 OC/ 1.25 SB DC WR2 and find the 1.25 to be a great everyday shaver.

I just thought I would check-in...I signed up for the waitlist in early September within the first few days of it being announced. I received my "proceed with order" email on 2.18. I submitted my changes via email on 2.20 and received the invoice within two hours. I paid the invoice immediately and was told the razor will ship out in 1-2 weeks. I currently own both a Guerilla and a WR1 61SB, but this will be my first experience with the WR2 head and I am very excited. I chose the 1.15 SB and paired it with the WRH7 90mm handle. I will post some pics when it arrives!

Thanks.  I'll just wait until my name comes up & time to finalize order.

In my initial order I had asked if I could send two baseplates back to have the gap # engraved on the bottom side. I also requested Ti for the forthcoming WR2. When I received the 'proceed with order' email it read, "Please note the following:

 - At this time, only existing menu items are being offered.  Custom orders (custom handles, engraving etc) are currently not available.

 - 316L Stainless steel is the only material being offered for this order."

After paying the invoice I went back to the site to re-read the advisory on follow up orders. It requests customers wait until receiving the current order before submitting another, and that the only material available (on this particular google order form) is 316 SS.

Worth a try anyway, but now Tara is fielding the correspondence, so whether James will be as accommodating as he once was remains to be seen.

Yep it was pretty clear on that proceed with the order email ,as you called it, engraving and different metals, custom orders and such. The part that  caught my attention also was where it  said wait till you receive your order before placing a new one, which right or wrong I know some guys said they did it immediately.

I hope Im wrong but can't help thinking that Ti, when it is offered again, might be subject to a
substantial price correction.

The way it stands right now, the price of a brushed Ti head is exactly the same as
his SS head in brushed satin.
