This is what JD said about Darwin Ti 3 mths ago:

"Darwin handles are machined once in a while because I need to tear down one machine and do nothing but Darwin handles. The last time I did this I made mostly stainless, and a few from other materials. Once I'm out of stainless I'll set this up again and make some with titanium. Probably another year or so."

I shaved half of my face two pass (WTG + ATG) and other half (only ATG just wonder).
It is very smooth to easily get single pass ATG. This razor is definitely keeper.
It is my first brand new Wolfman, happy to he started selling them with google form.
Hopefully others will receive their Wolfman soon.
I am done buying expensive razors until I can get Wolfman Ti from the next drops, only waiting for my Janus, now.

I joined list again to get one more 1.55 for my father. If I can get Ti 1.55, will give mine to him.
It is definitely the best razor I have ever used. Much smoother and more efficient than my Paradigm Ti V1 and WR1 .91.
I was shaving as comfortable as shaving with Raw RS10.
Don't think 1.55 is too high before try, it is super easy to use.

CK89,

Which WR2 blade gap would equate the Raw RS10 AGGRESSIVE plate in terms of comfort (smoothness) and efficiency?

Thanks!

I have tried only two WR2 plates 1.05 - 1.55.
I sold WR2 1.05 couple of months ago.
I remember Raw RS10 AGGR has more smoothness and efficiency.
But 1.55 is much more efficient than RS10, but still very comfortable razor.
RS10 does not have any blade feeling, I love to use my RS10 as daily shaver.
Probably other members who have more Wolfman can help you more.

Efficiency: About a 1.25
Comfort: 0.95

In other words, the RS-10 aggrv has the best of both worlds without going into the extreme WM gaps.

Thank you for the info!

I find the combined smoothness and efficiency of the RS10 AGGR plate mind boggling and addictive. So I am hoping to get a WR2 that would give me more efficiency with the same level of smoothness (if such a combination is even possible).

I should have read this before my response to CK89.
So, clearly, I will have to sacrifice some comfort to achieve more efficiency with the WR2, which is logical of course. In this light, I might try the 1.45.

I have a 1.55 and it's only a small sacrifice in smoothness for a HUGE gain in efficiency, a trade off I'm more than happy to make.

Well, in that case, I might just go ahead with 1.55.
