Are the WR1 and WR2 still in production and just taking a long time to make or are they finished editions now?

They are both still in production. The LABBS-1 is out, and I guess the short lived Guerrilla also.

Thanks Jimmy, in your opinion how does the guerrilla compare to the WR1 and WR2?

Well IME the Guerrilla was a very efficient shaver, but very mild at the same time. TBH I didn't like it. Referring to the SB. I never had the OC Guerrilla. I like aggressive razors with blade feel. The G wasn't that.

Tell you the truth, I never thought I would say this, but I like the WR2 better than the WR1. Both great, but if I could only have one it would be a WR2. So far I've shaved with a friend's 1.55 SB, my 1.15 OC-1.25 SB DC, and a 1.25 OC. If I get the 3rd email I'm going 1.55 DC WR2.

Consider whether you like a mild, middle of the road, or aggressive razor when you figure blade gap. For me the WR2 is THE razor.

I had both Guerrilla OC and SB before, OC is more efficient and pretty smooth razor.
I remember that efficiency was close to WR1 .61 OC.

For what it's worth,

The Guerrilla is a top tier razor in my line up, go figure.........

Well, I did adjust the blade gap some to make it so, even the Wr1 .74 oc comes down the list to it! My RAD Killer.
I could easily shave blind fold with this super smooth razor, never a nick or bite.
The BB got shelved too and a huge den clear out took place after the modded Guerrilla took them all out including the Wr1 .74 oc. Shave den Guerrilla warfare!

Not sure what the new blade gap is but is super smooth and super efficient..... Big Grin

I thought I was the only one crazy enough to modify a Wolfman Guerrilla.  Smile  I found the razor very efficient, but there was little or no blade feel. I wanted a more aggressive shaver. It was the first time I had been able to buy direct from James, and but despite that I was thinking of putting it up for sale. Then there was the handle. It wasn't 'bad' in terms of slipping, I keep my left hand dry, but I like a knurled surface.

So ... knowing that I was precluding the possibility of getting my money out of it I took my Eagle Rock Industries hand knurl and did the handle. Then I took a fine Swiss file and filed the base plate to increase the gap slightly. I've got some experience hand fitting pistol barrels so I knew to go slow, easy, and precisely. When all was said and done I had blade feel, and a more aggressive shaver.

One of those things where you come back with your shield or on it.

Starman & JimmyH , how did you modify the Guerrilla, exactly? Did you file down the edges of the base-plate?
I hadn't even thought about doing that when I had mine. I sold it as it was much too mild for me.

I like that knurling job. Looks similar to a copper tube cutter. Now I want a Eagle Rock industries hand knurl. Nice job!

Can't figure out how you did the knurling with a pipe cutter?
