Good morning to all,

I am a huge ATT fan (have owned every Stainless Steel model besides the new GEM). My favorite ATT is the Windsor R1, due to its smoothness, blade rigidity like an SE and easy of shave experience.

There are many comparisons between the regular ATT line and Wolfman Razors, but unfortunately, I haven't seen almost any comparisons between the newer Windsor line and Wolfman Razors.

has anyone used them both and can write their input on both?

Any info will be much appreciated.

If you can get a wolfman I would suggest buying it and just trying it out. If you don't like it you can most likely sell it and get the same price that you paid for it and not lose any money anyway.

I'm trying to do that since 3 years ago on and off, buts its been impossible to get one so far. I was even on the list when the list system was suddenly replaced/ canceled and went to the current system.... But I will keep my hopes up!

If you get the Windsor R1 let me know how it is compared to other ATT razors. I love the ones I do have. That is actually the next razor I am looking to buy, but I have to unload some extra gear to do it lol. I'm thinking I'll put my Savile Row 3824 and ATT calypso R1 up on BST for $170 as a package deal. I just don't use either one enough to justify keeping them.

Yes I've shaved with both and I find the the Windsor with the H plate to be close to the Wolfman WR1 .80DC . Smoothness is about the same which is very good on both razors and as a side note to me the Windsor is the smoothest ATT razor I've shaved with and my favorite so far. The WR1. 80 DC is just a bit more efficient than the Windsor but thy are close and both very nice shavers IMHO.

Many thanks for your input. Have you tried any lesser blade Wolfman? (such as standard gap). Would love to see a smoothness comparison of the Windsor R1 and Wolfman Standard.

Well, it looks like I'll probably get the Windsor then (Yeah right like I wasn't going to buy it eventually anyway).
