So one thing I've noticed is that the handle can make a razor feel more or less aggressive than it would be while using another handle. Case in point...the only head I have duplicates of is the WR1 .67 SB (my favorite). I have it in bronze with a Darwin handle and in Ti with a 3/7 handle. I am a big fan of the Darwin and my first Wolfman razor had a Darwin handle, so I am very used to it. They're the same head, but the Ti version always felt a little more aggressive with a bit more blade feel. I couldn't figure out why. Then I switched handles with the Ti version...used a Ti WRH7 and that seemed to tone it down a bit for me. It seems weird, but I think that little bit of extra length was making me use a slightly different angle than I was used to (with the Darwin). But with a WR2, the WRH3 and 3/7 gives me no problem at all.
For a little while, I've been thinking that many of us (myself included) might do things without knowing and then base our opinions on them. I think I inadvertently use the longer handle differently than the shorter handle. Maybe it happens in reverse too. Or maybe I'm full of shit? I dunno...
