When I sell a Wolfman razor, is it possible to have unlocked thread? I like members asking questions or making comments.

Don’t forget that mods have lives too, and shouldn’t have to work nights, weekends, and holidays on ‘Troll patrol’ when there’s ‘troll bait’ up on the BST.

Why spend $900 on a razor when you can get a clone that shaves excellent for 30-90 instead? Lupo & Gamechanger! 

Ah the eternal question to which there is no answer - used VW or new turbo Porsche? Ginger or Maryanne? Both do (mostly) the same thing, but if you’ve ever been a Harley rider you know that chrome and paint sell. People like, and are willing to pay for good lookin’ stuff! That’s OK. As far as razors go, there are a wide range of folks on shaving forums. If all you want to do is scrape the whiskers off really well, a decent DE or straight razor with a stick of Arko will do that as well as anything. It’s what most of our fathers did. If shaving is a hobby, people want to indulge and experiment a little.

It takes all kinds to make a world, enjoy the variety.

DFS Management has that patience virtue, wish I had that self-control.

Variety is fun, choices are the coolest part about shaving as a hobby!

Items that are intended to look or perform like something it is not, usually don’t.  A Wolfie or a CG can’t be replicated, nor can a Scott Knot. Pay to play, there’s something for everyone’s budget in shaving.

Not only do I agree that Wolfman and Charcoal Goods rule my razor den, and Declaration rules my brush den, but Mary Ann rules!

Yeah for sure. I was just messing around. I respect enthusiasts going for top shelf razors and brushes. Personally I love my I guess you could say "low end premium?" Karve CB SS lol. And im sure there's people that have an EJ DE89 that would say, why spend $150 on a razor when you can spend $30? It's nice to treat yourself and make the most out of your passion. I do want to own a dogwood andromeda with a Dec knot someday! Sounds like a great den you got there.

That sacred red text is why you have a problem with flippers like this running rampant on this site.

You are welcome to create your own forum with your own rules. It's very simple, if someone doesn't want to pay the markup, then they can get in line and wait a few years.

Regarding the first statement no turbo for me.  But I'd have a hard time picking between something like these.  Mary Ann for sure.

@ 71 years old I'd take that VW, as lovely a lass as Mary Ann is/was. The split back window is a real oldie. My first one was a 1959 VW purchased in 1969. There was no gas gauge. When it began to sputter, running out of gas, you leaned over and reached down to a lever at the center of the firewall and turned it a quarter turn to open the reserve tank. No such thing as seat belts in that one, and they weren't mandatory yet. Had it six months and totaled the poor thing. A bit wild when I was a young un.

No rinsing out brush in those days, had to make that cake LAST! (probably got a few dozen shaves per blade as well...)

Gotta '65 sunroof waiting for the undivided attention of retirement.  Find it a wee bit harder to get up off the floor lately though!

I'm a bit younger (63), but I also have fond memories of a VW. In the late '60s, my folks bought a new VW CamperVan. We lived in Boulder, and the hippie culture was so strong it crept into my Republican parents from Nebraska. What I remember most about the CamperVan was the weak, four-cylinder engine that would only do 35 miles per hour up hill, floored in second gear. In the Rockies, we were a rolling disaster waiting to happen...
