Sorry, but people on eBay pay what they want to pay, don't like it, don't bid. To chastise people that buy and sells on eBay is a cop-out, nothing more.

Hey, I'm a capitalist so you'll get no argument from me. If I got hit real hard on the head and decided that waiting 2 years for a $300 razor was a good idea though, I doubt I would buy it from someone who makes it pretty much impossible to get one unless you actually go to eBay and pay $600 for it. That's just me though.

Floyd Eye I do understand your point of view and it makes sense.

I somehow (just barely) understand, why people might be a bit upset, if they can't get something - but bashing a some one as nice as James and his business, just because you can't buy a razor?

Seriously?

Ebay sellers?

How many Wolfman have you seen on the bay in the past 2 years?

Quite a few.

You want a link to the one that's up there now for $650?

I agree with hrfdez and rawfox1 . While Wolfman razors are exceptionally nice, if you are unwilling to wait find another razor. It is just a tool. Furthermore no one has waited 2 years for a Wolfman razor or 2 years to get on a wait list. The previous wait list closed on 6/30/15 a little over a year ago. I can fully appreciate why James wants to keep the wait list to a month or so. I can't imagine working with year long wait list over my head on a daily basis. In the end this will all work out. Most things do.

It's amazing to me how the adage "You can't please all the people, all the time" is continually demonstrated in the wetshaving community.

Most of it revolves around frustration in not getting what we want, when we want it.

I have no inside knowledge of what happened in this recent wait list cycle with James at WolfmanRazors but what I do have first hand knowledge of is my experience with him from a customer service perspective.

He's honest, hard working and produces great razors. I received two last year as a regular guy, who went through the old registration, wait and delivery process. Communication was top notch, despite me providing a number of moving targets and my razors were delivered some months later.

The reality is with limited production capability and huge demand, there's no easy way to manage the process. I feel James took a stab at it this time and went with progress vs. perfection. Could it have been handled better? Likely, but certainly could have been handled a heck of a lot worse IMHO.

I certainly would have registered again this round as I would LOVE to own one of the Antique Bronze razors. One of the most beautiful shaving tools I have ever seen but I was out and about enjoying some time in the outdoors. My miss but I, increasingly, am unwilling to saddle myself in front of the computer to land any product. I have far too much gear as it is [I suspect most of us do] and it really is just a luxury at this point. Want not need and weekends are precious.

Regardless, sorry that some feel alienated but there are many, many options out there to choose from to scratch that itch. I certainly don't feel there was any broad conspiracy nor intent from Wolfman to alienate any potential customers in favor of others.

Just my .02.

This is the type of situation that have really discouraged me from belonging or participating in shaving sites of any sort. I had more fun with my hobby/lifestyle before I found all these places. You know the world is messed up when people quit talking to you over a freaking razor! This is the sad world we live in!

I am tired of the bickering and the bullshtein that goes on shaving forums. I am done with them. Right now, I am helping a couple of friends with some of their Unobtanium dreams before I leave all this stuff behind.

You gents can go ahead and fight over razors, brushes, etc. I am not doing that and frankly I am tired.

See ya!
