I noticed Wolfman have some Brush handles to offer now, that’s new and change James did good job on them I really like it not bad Happy2 for Wolfman Fans I assume it’s a must have lol.

Wolfman they Offer these handles in 24mm, 26mm, 28mm diameter.

Price is $275

Get one of these handles in 28mm and set Plisson knot 28mm from Paragon Shaving that’s a fantastic combo..to me personally.

I just wanted to share this with DFS Folks unless someone is got one already..

This Wolfman brush looks like Alpha:
Both are made of aluminum. Wolfman's handle is anodized.
Shapes are Beehive, wolfman removed some lines.

Wolfman handle is $275, probably brand name costs more than $200.
I think $275 brush handle should be made of Titanium or the shape and design should be unique.
Alpha with 28mm SHD badger hair is only $99. (razorcompany)

+$200 USD for aluminum anything is a hard pass for me. I got my alpha titanium handle discounted for 100 at bullgoose last year and even that was 200 msrp.

I don’t feel this is a must have. I don’t think of Wolfman as a brush maker. Not sure the name has any particular value in this respect, or that his reputation for precision machining matters for a brush handle. I would think of it more as merchandising, like t-shirts or hats, and $275 is a lot of money for something like that.

I agree aluminum doesn’t really gel with Wolfman either, but titanium would probably be much too heavy for a brush handle.

I personally would prefer that Wolfman gets someone to make nice resin brushes for James or in-house like Peter Wolf does with WW colarboration wouldn’t be bad idea?, but maybe this is his first start to see how well it will do? Yes not cheap lol but I guess it’s his Desing and “Wolfman” brand that’s why it’s got a price tag..again who am I to say anything I’m just commenting and using my own opinion here to share this…

If money wasn’t a subject sure why not to have it lol but again I personally like certain razors to have and brushes to have one thing after anther to pile I don’t see a point, again this is subjective right lol.

Like perhaps Trotter! Smile  I could see a Wolfman Oscuro or another custom pour. Not sure if horses and wolves get along though.

I would love a Titanium brush but the Alpha Titanium is selling for $235, you got a great deal for $100!
Huge fan of the Alpha brushes by Vlasta and the quality is top notch.

A razor vendor gifted me an ebony brush with brass trim. I moved it along pretty quick. AFAIC a metal handle on a shaving brush is out of balance, no matter who makes it, or which metal is used. A non starter with me.

Brass is heavy metal. If you wanna try aluminum, you might like AP shave co 400 mirror polished brush handle.
It is only $27 and it has perfect balance and weight for me: https://apshaveco.com/collections/replic...26mm-knots
