Wizamets on the Bay

I have bought 2 (250) packages from wizshave and 1 (250)from dromahop and each package is different, the first two boxes were from wizshave and the bottom one is from dromashop, i didnt took a picture of the blades but they are identical.

Very interesting, and very astute of you to notice that, but not necessarily any reason to hit the panic button, eh?

I guess you could say that that’s because they are from different batches, manufactured in different years, and maybe they made small changes to the boxes, writing, etc during that time?
One of the boxes seems to have a manufacturing date from Feb 2019, though...? And I was under the impression that they stopped making these way before then.... but who knows for sure?
There seem to be lots of rumours and confusion about these blades, as well as Polsilvers... if/ when production stopped, etc

Am I right in thinking that some people here have bought Wizamet blades from both Dromashop and Wizashave, and they were genuine?

I tried buying from wizashave's website (not eBay) a couple weeks ago.  After a week with no shipping notice, I requested a refund, and to wizashave's credit, it was issued within a couple hours of my request.  He was apologetic.  I don't get why he couldn't fulfill my order, but I utterly despise paying someone and waiting on them to fulfill.  If it's slow shipping, not seller's fault, but simply failing to ship?  I HATE that.

I made the attempt based on several long-standing members at B&B vouching for the Wizamets offered by wizashave as being genuine.

Anyone who has spent a mere few minutes on one of the myriad of threads that clutter wet shaving forums regarding this beat to death topic. But, no matter how many times the truth is posted people keep repeating myth, lore and sometimes outright lies regarding their production. Now that you have seen with your own two eyes that they are not discontinued spread the word. 

P.S.  The Polsilver is the same blade in different packaging. An obvious Gillette employee said as such on another forum. Of course, the "mob" on that forum crucified him for destroying a host of myths held by many and he quit posting. Can't blame him.

My experience may not be typical, but last year I bought 250 Wizamets from Wizashave and 250 Wizamets from adeelachha-0 (in Oregon). I've spent some time with each set of packaging, and can't tell them apart. Neither of them have dates. I've not tried the blades from Wizashave, but the Oregon blades are just fine. (Or maybe it's vice versa--I can't remember.)

I bought from the same seller last year and the blades were good. I liked them enough to place another order. That order was never shipped and I eventually got a refund. 
I’ll have to research other reliable sellers before I order again.

So you have 2 different mfg dates on 2 of the tucks being Jan 19 and Feb 19 and it looks like in the other pic 2 were made for the Australian market and 1 for Egypt... The more pics that people post lately have clearly show these are still very much in production but only for certain markets in the world.

I received a shipment of 250 this week from Wizashave.  It took 6 weeks with the holidays.  They have 2019 date codes and what looks like Arabic writing (also English).  I noted that the blades looked kind of stained or mottled.  Another guy said his looked the same.

Nice shave today with them.

Could anyone pls spare me a 100?
