Winter soap suggestions

Good day all. I am looking to buy a winter soap for another long Michigan winter. Some of the soaps on my short list are as follows:
Tabac
Stirling Ozark Mountains

I have used those two before. The others I am thinking about that I have not used are:
PAA Cavendish with after shave
RR Zi'Peppino

Would appreciate any suggestions of soaps and complimenting aftershaves.

My winter is far from Michigan winters, but I always like to use "heavy" scents when it's cold outside. B&M Lavanille is my cure

Mitchell's Woolfat, and a good aftershave balm from Nivea will keep your skin from drying out.

Any warming type of product would be in the category of a "winter soap". Bay Rum is a classic. But as Clayton suggested don't count on the soap to moisturize your skin. It's just not an effective delivery system to get that job done.

OK, now having written that I know lots of folks who love to use cooling products in the dead of winter; even at -20°F. You might think it insane, but it's really quite invigorating. I learned that from a Norwegian friend. Since the cold from menthol is a just a trick played on the nerves there is no increased danger of damage to the skin from the increased hit of "cold".

One of my favorite winter scents is LA Shaving Soap Myrkviðr.
Stirling Coniferous is good, too.

Mike's Natural....Been using for over a week now for the first time. One of, if not the, first artisans out there. Wonderful performance with about the most perfect ingredient list I've seen. Great stuff...even if late to the party.

For "warm" feeling soaps, I frequently reach for Bay Rum (B&M is my current go-to, but I love Krampert's aftershave and I'm sure their soap is just as nice), MLS Drunken Goat would be another good one. Catie's Bubbles LPV has a nice warm character to it. Also (shameless self promotion alert!), I created Autumn Morning with just this sort of feeling in mind. It will be coming back on Friday.

On the other hand, sometimes you like to be reminded of the better times with something spring-y. I really like B&M 42 for that.
