Williams was not discontinued and I used a new puck today. The secret is to soak the puck in very hot water for a minimum of 5 mins. I have no problem whatsoever getting a good lather with my synthetics and it is slick to boot for several passes. I have also grated up a puck and added glycerin in the past which works as well. Very cheap to use.
