Please, Brad, mend 100%!  My thoughts are most definitely with you.

P.S.  You just know we all want to see what you look like with a full beard.  I bet Chris (BadDad) would be most interested. Winking

To get you started, here is a preview of what I assume I will look like again this fall when I put my winter beard back on - yours will look better I'm sure.

Just being truthful.  Add to that, making lemonade out of lemons and I hope Brad pulls through as easily as possible.  He is a good guy and the less discomfort, the better.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes and encouragement. My last Doctor's visit after the MRI went well and no surgery will be needed. I fractured my elbow and chipped off a bone spur, slightly tore part of my tricep, and dislocated my shoulder. My arm is bruised up and down. Will be in sling for a couple more weeks. I using my left hand bit by bit.

The good news I been able to shave using my left hand for the last couple days.

Keep on getting well. One other thing, while I was recovering from my shoulder surgery I used a cold laser (bioflex brand) treatment several times a week. My massage therapist had one of the devices. I felt it really helped speed my recovery and I did confirm with the surgeon that I could use it.

I'm sorry to hear that you injured yourself.

Unfortunately, I have history in dealing with similar types of injuries. My consistent experience is that the solution is in consistently doing the physical therapy exercises. They may be waiting for you to stabilize before doing that.

Two years ago I dislocated my left shoulder with the bad kind of dislocation. I broke a bone that almost always means that surgery will be needed. The doc agreed that I could try phys. therapy. I was consistent, didn't need surgery and now I have to exercise both shoulders as the left one became stronger than the good one.
