TSE, in the video at the top, is known and affectionately notorious for loving the Plisson synthetic, going so far as to name it "the brush of the gods." So the video is good ironic fun on his part.

He's poking fun at those who have hammered the plission type brushes for all the reasons stated, "very tongue and cheek." When you hear it in a statement, out loud rather than reading it, the points do sound somewhat absurd. Chris just took the opportunity to ratchet it up one or two levels. The best video in a long time. I did actually laugh at one or two points. Reminds us to not take ourselves so seriously.

I only wish I could locate a Plisson synthetic knot with a mounted loft of at least 63mm. That's what sucks! (Unless someone can send me a link!!! Smile
