Had my first shave with ‘King of Bourbon’ in the Bufala Base, and it was outstanding. The Donkey Milk Base was already in my top three performers, but the Buffalo Milk takes it to another level. Creamy, Slick, great Post Shave, this one checks all the boxes. The scent on this one is outstanding. Some of Wholly Kaws scents have been hit or miss for me, but I LOVE this one. This is going to be my Cold Weather Wholly Kaw scent, and La Fougere Parfaite is going to be my Warm Weather Wholly Kaw scent. You’ve outdone yourself on this one Sri, well done!

The Bufala base is excellent. I only have Pasha's Pride scent of the moment, which is great. I ordered King of Bourbon soap and toner from WCS and only received the toner, the soap was missing from the box (and packing label for that matter). I followed up with WCS and they said their inventory count glitched and they sold me the soap when it was actually out of stock. They said 2-3 weeks for new stock then they will ship it to me. I did use the KoB toner with Project Leather soap sample and really liked the scent of KoB. This is also the first WK toner I used and really liked it, but only used it once and will use it again once I get the KoB soap.

Any resemblance with Derby City Chop Shop shave tonic? That's also Bourbon heavy scent.

That's a bummer. We have the order from WCS and should be shipping it early next week. Hope you get the King of Bourbon soap soon after we ship to WCS.

Can anyone describe the scent difference between Merchant of Tobacco and King of Bourbon?

I would be interested in this question also. I have Project Leather and King of Oud and am looking to add a few more WK soaps to my growing collection. King of Bourbon and Pasha's Pride are high on my list.

These two scents are substantially different. King of Bourbon is much more complex with the vanilla, ginger, cypriol and tobacco playing a big role in the evolution of the scent profile. Merchant of Tobacco is straightforward tobacco, bourbon and chocolate. Merchant of Tobacco is much more sweeter than King of Bourbon.

Was the Christmas soap ever announced yet? Did I miss it?

BTW - Merchant of Tobacco is hands down my favorite followed by King of Oud.

I've been using the Anti-Aging Serum daily since 12/1 and after a few days I've noticed my shaves have become better in smoothness/comfort. I have a small problem area on my neck that regardless of soap, prep, blade, etc. is still a problem area. It's likely because in that tiny area the hair has decided to grow in the opposite direction of the others and so it's shaved against the grain. In any case, there is no or next to no irritation in this area now after shaving.

Anything new at Camp Wholly Kaw whollykaw ? Is the xmas timed but not xmas themed soap still planned? I've been shaving with a few other soaps including the WK donkey milk soap and in my opinion the new Buffala base is the best out there. The aftershave splash is quite nice too.

Will Bare Naked come to the tallow water buffalo milk base?
