I think I have too strong a preference for two band badger.  I hope yours goes well and is satisfying for you.

A synthetic brush is all that I've been using for quite some time now and I like them. I think over the past year, I've only used a badger brush 1-2 times.

I have had some synthetic knots that were just too dense for me though so I moved on from them.

I can relate to this. Out of the three Tuxedo brushes that I have, only one is at a loft that I’m completely satisfied with… (And that one happens to be the 24 mm Tuxedo I simply dropped into a Whipped Dog handle with no adjustments.)

Good luck with this project, andrewjs18 and JR_Reyes! It would be nice to see how it turns out.

certainly hope to share some photos or JR_Reyes can when he's done with it as he probably takes better photos than me.

That should make for a nice restore, Andrew! I like the style of that handle. It looks to be in pretty nice shape, just a little dirty. Good luck! Can't wait to see the finished product!

Here is a before and after shot of Andrew's Ever Ready 150.

It was a pleasure my friend.

I will start making more of a presence on here.
