Love my Karve, love the bronze look... Also the price is great for such a nice tool. I'm not an OC guy, though. I use milder razors and the B plate is almost perfect for me. That brings up another perk... Choices in plates. On that note, fwiw, Chris ran a limited release of G plates... It may come back someday. This of course speaks to the commitment and active development of the Karve. I'm obviously very happy with mine.

This is an impossible question to answer as every answer is subjective. The best advice, if you want to save money, is to buy an inexpensive DE razor and if you are happy with it, then stop buying any further razors; just enjoy the one you have.

Seriously though, while this is the best advice it’s proven difficult in practice.
I completely agree and I have never been able to heed this advice. I was just trying to help the OP save some money.
