There were two of them.
I was torn between "not breaking up the set" and "letting someone else have one".  Confused2
I chose to break up the set, and just got over it.

I like the flat blade because I can scrape it off on the edge of the lather bowl or soap tub. Can't do that with a spoon.
That was then, this is now, an enamelled metal measuring spoon set also from the Salvation Army Thrift Store:

I find that the 1/4 teaspoon (2nd from the bottom) measures out the ideal quantity for all of my soaps and croaps. I detached it from the ring and tossed all the others in a drawer.
It also has the right radius and shallowness for getting it out of the spoon with my thumb tip.

I use this thing. Not perfect, but does the job well enough.

This Wally World SS 1/4 TSP from a set. I got the idea from sgrdddy on his Videos, and it helped me from the start.
It works good and most soaps don't seem to require anymore than this scoop full. I have found a couple of my soaps use 2or 3 scoops, bit that's an oddity, for me.

Triple milled soaps can be tough to scoop!
