In any case this fellow did a very professional looking job of attaching a power cord to the end of a corn broom and he presented it to the newest apprentice (no it wasn't me) as an electric broom. Its completely silent when its operating but keeps the dust down and is excellent for sweeping in corners. We were building a school at the time and this fellow had a lot of sweeping to do. He hauled extension cords all over the place for a couple of days to ensure his broom operated properly before we couldn't take it anymore and trying to stifle our laughter was getting too hard so we told him. He took it pretty well and he did mention that in his opinion it didn't work any better than a normal broom.

Now theres this!! Its silent in operation but lathers like a dream and works great in those hard to get at spots Big Grin

Wow, just wow...

Here’s the thing. I didn’t know how big a difference an electric toothbrush could make until I tried a really good one (> 30,000 strokes per minute). Every time I use it, I feel like my teeth have been professionally cleaned.

Now, I haven’t tried this shaving brush. But I just cannot (in my wildest dreams) fathom how it could have a similar effect on my shaves as an electric toothbrush has on keeping the teeth clean. Heck, if this thing made thousands of movements per minute, I’d imagine that the lather would just be flying all over the place. Confused2

(I, too, cannot wait until someone reviews this thing.) Smile

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Art of Shaving really made a mistake with this brush though. $175 is a small price to pay for a brush that revolutionized the lathering process. If they really wanted to up the prestige and luxury they should have offered this fine shaving implement for $395.

Well, the standard here at DFS is $735 whether it is a wolfman razor or AoS brush. Anything less would be uncivilized.

I don't want to fork out the cash for it, but I'd love to see it in person. I don't think it's really practical, but the gadget geek in me thinks its neat.

Personally I think it would be about as useful as the Stahly Live Blade, more gimmick than anything else.

Considering how expensive their brushes are I am surprised they are giving it away so cheap lol
