Royal Fougère t. (Asylum Shave Works) Penhaligon's English Fern

Royal Fougère actually smells better than it's inspiration. It's deeper, richer, and less tinny than Pen's English Fern. I love it. And the lather? Fully loaded, it's just as good as anything on my shelf. Rediscovering these Asylum/WSP soaps has been one of the shaving highlights of the summer.
  

I just finished a pass around & was using the soap furnished with the razor.  Now I can use my soap of choice, Ethos. After being away from Ethos for a week, I realize how much better Ethos is than other soaps.

Ethos Melange d'agrumes.

So many great things being said about Ethos!  I do look forward to trying it but I'm holding off until the Ethos/DFS collaboration is available
