What soap/cream did you use today?

XPEC Unscented shaving cream (v.1) + Pacifica Sandalwood perfume.  The cream makes wonderful lather, but I like a bit of fragrance, so I always add a few drops of a perfume or cologne while building the lather.

Cèdre-Orange v. (Le Père Lucien)

There’s noting particularly tricky about this scent. It’s just cedar and sweet orange. The wood is sort of dirty while the citrus is dreamsicle clean. It would be a bore if it weren’t for the quality of the cedar, which has a bitter, dusty, sort of cedar chesty feel to it. What keeps the scent interesting is the balance of the two notes, the one bright, light, and sweet – the other musty, damp, and slightly reminiscent of a hamster cage.
