Declaration Grooming Dirtyver Icarus base
This is a richly scented shaving soap based on vetiver. Perhaps I just don't grasp the branding aesthetic of Declaration Grooming but why would you name a shaving soap Dirtyver with the operative part of that being dirt. Declaration Grooming's description of this soap is decidedly unhelpful, not to say vague:
"Dirtyver is the next step in the evolution (or devolution, depending on your perspective) of Marshlands, our unapologetically vetiver scent. This is not the type of vetiver that you would take home to meet your parents. This is the type of vetiver that will take you out, show you things you’ve never seen, and introduce you to debauchery found only in your wildest imaginings."
My research indicates that vetiver is made from the root system of an Indian grass. I put my nose to a sample and really liked, it debauched or not. So I ordered a full puck along with the matching aftershave.
