The puck is small, and it's hard to get a broad brush in the tub, but the lather comes together without any effort at all. It's a stiff pile of suds that will take a fair amount of water and yield a slick shave. The scent is very pleasant, warm without becoming pungent and tart without disappearing before the shave's over. A little sticker on the bottom reads "Nov 2018." I take this to be the soap's expiration date. First time I've ever seen that.
