What soap/cream did you use today?

LNHC - Absinthe Shaving Soap with Bentonite & Rhassoul
A couple of thoughts on this soap: 1) the fragrance is not overpowering, but it is not weak either, 2) this soap lives to lather! Not much on the brush (20-25 swirls) and I had a bowl of beautiful looking lather, 3) this is a thirsty soap, after my first application and a few razor strokes I stopped to add more water, 4) this is a very slick lather with moderate cushion. I really like this soap and will enjoy many shaves with it. If it fits your budget, give it a try, I think you'll be very pleased.

Jeeves of Hudson Street - Turkish Bath Tallow Shaving Soap
This is a barbershop fragrance to my nose. Lathered nicely and the fragrance is 7/10 and will linger post shave.

Eton College (Taylor of Old Bond Street) floral cologne

There’s a nice bit of neroli blooming right in the middle of this fragrance with some jasmine on the edges. The patchouli is light, clean, and warm. Altogether it’s a nice complement to a wool suit, not that I wear one any more.
