Tùlach Àrd (Calani Seifenmanufaktur) sweet green grass
Well, this is green grass and high hills forever – sweet, spicy turf and tweed rolling out to the horizon. The scent and the soap are very good, but sadly they’re no longer being made by Calani. The name had me scrambling around the net for a translation into English. It turns out “Tùlach Àrd” is a mountain in Scotland. It became the battle cry of the Clan MacKenzie in the miniseries Outlander, which I’ve never seen, nor ever even heard of until now. Entertainment comes slowly to these far western islands.

Barrister's Reserve Classic. After only one use, I can say that this soap base is very impressive! I'll keep using it for the next few days to get the water ratio dialed in. This stuff is slick and protective. The residual slickness is off the charts. I found that I could go over areas multiple times with no lather and it still remained slick.
