Sandalwood (Cold River Soap Works) damp hard woods, nuts & forest earth
The scent is starting to mellow, and the different notes are melding into one accord. A sweetness is coming out, too, and for the first time I recognize this soap’s scent as obviously sandalwood. This isn’t the only soap on my shelf that has taken a month to mature before coming into its own. I enjoy sampling them along the way. Seeing all these round disks of creamy soap on my shelves, I’m reminded of ripening cheeses.
