So many soaps, so little time…. My friend Hobbyist has been persistent in asking me to try the Haslinger he knew that I had stashed away. Well, I finally did. And as I expected, it did not disappoint. Quite the contrary.

I love honey, but to me, the scent of this soap isn’t its strong point. However, the soap was easy to lather, and the lather had the sheen and the stability I seek in a quality soap. Looking forward to more shaves with this one, and trying some of their other soaps, especially the Schafmilch.

Quality soap, no doubt about it. And when purchased from the right place — well, let’s just say that it goes to show that good soap does not have to be expensive.
