Cade Shaving Soap (L’Occitane en Provence) juniper, bergamot, pepper
This is a nice shaving soap to use after a good scrub with L’Occitan shower soap. They both have a dash of bergamot and a pinch of round, sweet pepper – it’s a gentle, manly accord. I’ll probably be buried with this puck of Cade. Triple milled and packed tight, it’s bound to outlast me. Just a few swirls of the brush yields about a quart of foam. But don’t be tempted to stop there. The soap really comes into its own after you’ve swamped your brush. Don’t worry, you’re not going to run out any time soon.
