Fougère (Martin de Candre) rosemary, lavender, coumarin, mint, basil, thyme
Fougère smells like you’re standing in the herb garden in June with a hose in your hand. It’s a sweet, clean medley of green scents. Gladly, I don’t pick up any fruitiness at all. What’s lacking, though, is the aroma of damp earth to balance the camphorous acridity of the rosemary and lavender. Just a drop of dirty vetiver would help me keep my feet on the ground while I'm shaving. Without that ballast, every time I lather this soap, I'm likely to float away to heaven.
