Orris Root (Joserra) iris & sandalwood
Shave 2 ・ 120 g left

It’s been a great year. I’ve enjoyed lots of shaves with favorite old friends like Martin de Candre, Ethos, Barrister & Mann, and Grooming Dept; but I’ve also discovered some new brands that work really well for me, like Mammoth, Zingari Man, and Los Jabones de Joserra. Of all these newcomers, Joserra’s soaps stand out for their excellent protection. They provide the slickest lather of any soap in my stable, and they don’t leave me feeling greasy. I get a close shave with no welts, no burns, no pain, no matter the razor. Even better, I don’t need to scrub my face hours later to get rid of the fat. Truly great stuff.

Agreed on the LJDJ base. Always in my rotation. Always slick and moisturizing. Like you I discovered MAMMOTH this year. Need to get an array of these pux for 2025.

This soap works best with a lather bowl and a soft brush.  (I have the Bongiorno al Sandalo version).
