What soap/cream did you use today?

The secret to making a fine lather with this soap base is simple: add more water than you think it will hold. Yesterday I kept it too dry, fearing that the vegetal base would break. The lather came out abysmal. ‘Thin and fleeting’ best describes it. So today I went in the opposite direction, carefully adding water drop by drop as I slowly built the lather on my palm. Instead of going thin and bubbly, the lather eventually took on an oily texture and became very stable. The more water I added, the richer it became. And with this newfound richness, I also got a far better cushion. A happy shave. Buttero is all vegetal, but it lathers like a tallow and clay soap. And the ample Shea butter gives a very smooth finish.

Per creare una schiuma fine con questo sapone, aggiungi più acqua di quanto pensi sia necessario. Ieri ho usato troppo poca acqua, preoccupato che la base vegetale si rompesse. Il risultato è stata una schiuma sottile e fugace. Oggi ho fatto l'opposto, aggiungendo acqua goccia a goccia mentre costruivo lentamente la schiuma sul palmo della mano. Invece di diventare sottile e spumeggiante, la schiuma ha sviluppato una consistenza oleosa ed è diventata molto stabile. Più acqua aggiungevo, più diventava ricca, fornendo un cuscino migliore per una rasatura liscia. Buttero è un sapone vegetale ma produce schiuma come un sapone al sego e argilla, con abbondante burro di karité per una finitura liscia.

Was about to pull the trigger on Coconut Fig, but did not...my bad         This soap is exceptional in every aspect of shaving, imo. Hope it shows up at a few vendors
