Honestly, it was one of the best soaps I have used at any price. And refills were only $12.00. What, if anything is similar today?
When these Fine soap bowls empty out I replace them with Stirling pucks.

Shave 53

I’d like to make this a full-on Frenchified shave. I have a French soap and a French brush, both of which I enjoy very much. Now I need help finding a French razor. I’ve seen some posts featuring Atelier Durdan’s Le Maurice. It sounds like a mild, smooth operator, but I don’t care for the handle Agustin is offering now. Too glitzy. His Vestige razor is gorgeous (thanks for today's post Sascoman), but it takes Gem blades, and I don't always get along with them. Can you think of other razors made in France?

With your predilection for mild AC razors, I would think the “La Faulx”  classic head should be perfect. Without a doubt one of my top 3 smoothest razors
