What soap/cream did you use today?

Tabac Tuesday

I was so close to the end, I shaved 3 days in a row with this stuff. My third ceramic jar of tallow Tabac, and 2 tubes of the cream polished off. This jar was expedited as I tried to lather up with it every Saturday. There were some exceptions. I got about 100 shaves with her. So about 1.3 grams per load.

When they murdered the tallow, I loaded up - think  I have 7 jars in reserve.  May or may not live long enough to shave my way through it. .

Certainly, if you really try, it can be done. It would take an obscene amount of water to do it, though. I hit this with large doses of water today, over and over, and don't think I was anywhere close to breaking the lather. And there was glorious lather everywhere. On the mirror, the vanity top, all over myself...  Damn, it was good. Dripping ice cream consistency for the win. 

Haahhahaahha. Exactly. Same for me. It is obscene lather. Love that formula.

I need to bust the Tabac out for a few spins. At my current rate, my couple of pucks might outlast me.

I’m glad to be busy but brother life needs to slow down!  Everything is good.  Great even. But wow, free time is as scarce as hens teeth.  I will say that a morning shave is so relaxing right now and I appreciate that.  Working on a tub of Nordost which is simply awesome. And a rub of Midnight Special which is ….. odd.  Kind of par for the B&M stable I suppose.  I keep wondering if it’ll grow on me like Diamond did or if it’ll wear on me like Measure of Man.  Time will tell I suppose.  The Omnibus sure soaks up the water though.  I don’t know of a soap with a wider water window.  And ……there I go again talking about things that few men give a rip about.  Water windows, thirsty soaps, broken lather.  Come on man, tell me to put my pinky down and shave.  Haha
