The 38C was my first DE I bought in 2010. I still have it though I haven't used it in some time. It might be time to break it out. I remember getting BBS or at least close with it when I first started. I was using Shark and Derby blades at the time. Maybe close or BBS meant something different then, but the shaves were excellent.
