That’s disappointing! I hate Rose but this one was the one that made me open my mind and experience something different than my love for “dark mysterious sexy FOUGÈRE’s”

Floris - n° 89 cream

Orange/Lemon Clove Citrus Smoky Black Tea is the scent I get and LOVE! Smells just like fresh steeped “Russian Caravan” …. The performance is incredible, I like BIG lathers and for the age of this soap it’s up to par especially the scent. Gourmand at its finest here.  This tub is probably the “last Samurai” as Strop Shoppe called it quits back in 2013-ish? Currently on its way to a well respected DFS Member for “scientific experimentation and replication!”

The Russian (drinking) Tea I get is a composition of lapsang souchong, oolong, assam, & puerh which suggests smoky sweetness.  I don’t kill tea with anything except sweetener AFTER tasting my PRO steeped brew.  What kind of sweetener? Gooooood Question…depends on time of year; lighter in warmer weather for obvious reasons.  Generally, I don’t enjoy sweet anything, but don’t get me twisted, I’ll take a pistachio gelato anytime y’all are treating! Sweeteners for me are Belgian Rock, Agave, Honey (my go to), and Rigoni di Asiago Dolce di Organic Sweetener.  The last one is made from apples and is brilliant, ZERO after-taste….I discovered it in a small Italian town SE of Trento.

For a year, I've aimed to shave every day. My objective: string together 365 consecutive shaves in the hope of finding a consistently painless method that would keep me clean without ravaging my skin. With ten days left to my goal, I’ve finally unearthed some excellent combinations of soaps, razors, and blades that grant me an irritation-free, close morning shave day after day. Grooming Dept’s soaps have been pivotal in solving this. They offer excellent protection while ensuring a close cropping. I can use them days on end without messing up my hide. Had I begun with Tobacco Oud a year ago, I could’ve spared myself so much trouble.

Does GTB match the Panama 1924 ? NO.........................and I don't care  I am filling in for a friend and I'm a paid Chauffeur today and want to share the Ghost Town Barber goodness with an elderly Gentlemen of means as he goes to his Doctors appointment. He can thank me later  Yes TommyCarioca It was a great shave with the soap and I'm glad I got it based on your nudging  On to the razor. Decided to go with the ++ plate today. While you can feel the extra .5 in blade exposure, it by no means is uncomfortable. Still a smooth and drama free shave but more exfoliating of skin cells. Man I feel clean and smooth. Now I'm unsure which I would prefer between the + and ++ Plates. Being a daily shaver I may lean towards the + but they are both so comfortable.......Well since I'm daydreaming I'll just get both.  May do a video comparison between this and the WR3 I have on loan tomorrow.
