Is this new packaging? I've found modern AOS soap very much like Williams. Very hard to hold lather. Is that the case here?

The Holy Black - Tangerine Creeper (Secret Stash)

Honestly, these soaps shave like a dream. Can't make a bad lather with them! No trial and error, or getting familiar required. While not super-fatted, they have a nice post feel that I think Bouki would appreciate it for.

I’m on a Provence kick right now, so you may be seeing a lot more of this soap, along with some lavenders and herbal mixes that remind me of the south of France. Once again I used Ethos First Lather, and once again I got a great cream. I'm going to stick with this stuff. It really works well for me. The scent of this old puck of Cade is nice and woody with just a wee bit of spice. And best of all, even after sixteen shaves, there are still eight grams more of this soap than are advertised on the label.

I don’t know about it being new packaging. As for loading my brush, I didn’t have any problem. I just added a couple of drops before I washed my face and put some proraso preshave on.
