One of the members reached out to me to graciously offer a sample of Rendezvous.  So thank you very much!

Clay Face

Bergamotto (Ethos) divine bergamot
Shave 1  ≈  122 g left

Here in the shack it’s hotter than a jalapeño in a south Texas chili. 88°F inside, and it’s still not even spring. Can you believe it? Summer sneaked up on us while we were still breaking in our winter boots. And these old rusty ceiling fans aren’t cutting it when it comes to keeping me cool.

But fear not, for I have found a solution to beat the heat, thanks to the wisdom of our general mentor, TommyCarioca. Before each shave, I now take an ice cube and rub it all over my face. It’s like an alpine breeze blowing down the canyon at the end of a hot summer’s day. Not only does the ice numb my skin and take away the sting of the blade, but it also reduces swelling and tightens the pores. And if that weren't enough, it even makes my beard stand up straight, leading to a closer, smoother shave.

Now, don't get me wrong, the relief only lasts for a few minutes until I step outside and get hit with that wall of heat. But for those few precious moments, I feel like I’m sitting on a porch with a tall glass of lemonade, just watching the world float by.

I must have scrolled by this post, or it's brothers in the brush, razor, etc threads a dozen times today. I think Tabac was calling to me. So, this evening I followed Dave's lead and broke out the Tabac.

A good scent and a great performer. Thanks for the inspiration!

Tabac (tallow)

I'm in, too!

I like the scent more and more every time I use it. Albeit, rare usage. When I first had this years ago, it drifted between so-so, like, and dislike... never love or hate. Today was love, maybe for the first time.

Everyone knows about the lather and shave performance, but I also have to give it props for the post... very supple skin, no hint of dryness, tingling, or irritation.
