Le Grand Chypre (Barrister & Mann) lime chypre

At first sniff, there appears to be an overabundance of lime on top of this fragrance, giving it a neon bright aura. However, the true enjoyment begins once you start to lather it up. It’s then that the deeper scents of labdanum, incense, and moss begin to emerge from the depths of the fragrance, adding some weight and complexity to the scent. I am so fond of this fragrance that I have stocked up with at least four tubs in case of a shavapocalypse.

And Sascoman, isn't that Peregrino a fine brush? It's cheap as dirt but still it makes the finest lather of any brush in my stable.

Barrister_N_Mann should revert to this style of label artwork; his latest is less than inspiring, almost detracting from perceived brand value across the range. If there legal issues, perhaps contract out to ExtraProtein for graphics befitting the quality of his offerings.

How's the scent of Rendezvous?
Wonderful, I actually think it’s a star. I have a back up jar.

My wife said “if you had one scented soap that would be the one for all seasons and occasions.”

But she uses a success stick on her legs ;-)

I would not have believed it until I stopped in the Razor company and smelled it.  I had to have one.

I've had Rendezvous in my cart multiple times, but always changed my mind at the last minute. My biggest issue is that I have a 10ml decant of Creed Spice and Wood and I wasn't impressed. I need to find it and see how my tastes may have changed over the years.

From TRC's site:

"Exclusive to The Razor Company

Rendezvous - Scent inspired by Creed Spice & Wood"

I found my decant of CSW and gave a squirt to my left hand.  Still not to my liking.

I would say this was one scent that surprised me.  It is so, so good and I don’t want to say anything but the recipe isn’t close to me for Creed. It’s so much better than Creed.

It’s like comparing a Skoda to a Porsche.

It is actually an S base, not an F as the label and website say.
