Peche de Vigne (Ethos) pure peach
Shave 2 ・ 102 g left

Taking some good advice from Nero and Dragonsbeard, today I rubbed this puck of soap all over my face. It smelled so good I must have lost track of what I was doing since I ended up overloading. While yesterday’s lather came out wispy, today’s was on the pasty side. I shaved it off anyway, and everything turned out just fine.

When I was done, I noticed I had some soap left in the brush, so I decided to run a palm lather, just to see what would happen. What happened was just short of miraculous. When I took the time to water it well and work it thoroughly, this soap made a gorgeous lather. It wasn’t as heavy as a tallow lather, but it was velvety, copious, and finely grained. I was so happy with it I slapped it on my cheeks and took another pass. Excellent glide and protection. Good feelings all around. Pretty fun figuring out what brings out the best in a soap.

Great to hear, Bouki! Btw, this is what I do with Haslinger too, and doing so makes the new vegan formula excellent.

The old Nero°Li° face rub - I do this with MWF, ABC, DRH, and Tabac. It does work very well for us "face latherers"

Ethos Vetivert

Perfect with Creed Original Vetiver. A soapy green version of the ole root which I love all year round. Almost out of the Creed....but have a new flacon in the wings to pair with this great shave soap/AFS pair. I have been craving this shave.
