In a big hurry today - 2 pass with no real time to compose a nice image. But good news as Mr. Doug discovered a really nice rose forward soap from an artisan on Etsy. I really can't discern the accord difference with this and Soap Commander Love! The lather is different however. It is not a low profile tallow fatty lather, rather a tall cushion dominant vegan product: perfect for today's requisite quick shave. It kept me safe from nicks and rash ; and I smell goot. Big thanks Mr. Doug. BTW, I did not shave with the Glock 48, but it is with me every waking second of my day. [Image: fcc0e032255fd5c690c9cf0c4d065df0.jpg]

Glad it worked out well for you. In my talks with the guy who runs the Etsy shop, Aaron, he said (about the scent notes):

"as far as the scent, tea rose has almost a fresh tea leaves fragrance, i feel it smells earthy. its certainly floral, but not sweet or perfume like. the geranium adds some green/garden like supporting notes. "

I hear ya on the Glock. I prefer a mild shaver, so I use a Ruger MkIV. I find with the smaller caliber, you can get the hard to reach places easier.

It’ll never be my favorite scent.  In fact it’ll never be able to overcome its resemblance to post game muscle balm.  It most certainly is not disagreeable but neither is it pleasing.  It just IS.  I found a list of scent notes and frankly, even after knowing them I was unable to pick out any individual notes.  I sort of get the galbanum.  Sort of.  I don’t get birch tar (and I know that one well). Performance is very nice.  Scent is very esoteric.  That is what I most often find with Grooming Department.  Hey look, I understand I’m the odd man out and that many of you love his scents.  I’m just not one of them.  Oh, and one more note, folks have reported tearing through a tub in record time?  That would be what I’m experiencing with this tub.  Am I overloading?  Yeah, I’m sure I am.  I load heavy with every soap.  I have found though that if I don’t load heavy I don’t get the emulsion I’m looking for.  Super tight shave this morning.

Ah, nostalgic for me. This was my first intro to your products clear back when 13 came in glass.
