Omnibus Base
"For Paganini's Violin, we have composed a fragrance built on multiple variations on a single note, all playing together into one unified, singular whole. The smell of clean skin after a hot shower, interlaced with fruity undercurrents and tea..."

The scent is subtle on this one.  It doesn't reach out and grab me like the scent of the other current limited edition release, Passiflora.  Today, however, the subtle simplicity of this one note wonder was really attractive to my nose.  I find it hard to put into words so the best I can do is to quote the description given above.  Both Passiflora and Paganini's Violin are available through the end of March.  If anyone is considering a purchase, I would opt first for Passiflora then PV.  Personally, I am very glad I have both.  The omnibus base is superb.[Image: IMG_2747_2048x.jpg?v=1644937425]
Great post. Agree on all points.
BTW. WTH is that one note . Intriguing!

They did a great job matching the scent. Unfortunately this scent doesn't really work for my skin.

I sure like the look of those Adirondacks out under the juniper and limber pine.  Looks like a great place to spend an afternoon.  How are you healing up my friend?
Thanks, the lovely family that I bought the place from put them in just the right place and orientation. I just need to give them a scrape and a new coat of paint.

Been over 12 weeks already... flew by, to my surprise. Started PT this week and feel great (after the soreness wears off). My range of motion and strength are increasing nicely. She says I could probably ski in a month (mother nature will have the final say).

Thanks for asking!

I have never tried it in Tapatalk... Not sure. I always open the web version to clear messages. Even there it's a pain, you have to delete them. Then go to the trash folder and delete them (empty the folder).

I do see in Tapatalk there's a delete option in the three dot menu, but nowhere do I see a trash can. Sorry.

Oh well, time to try to find a new rose scent. Something light for sure, and if it's a mixture, definitely on the sweet side.

I was about to post the same sad news for those of us who love Somali Rose.  I went to look for it a few weeks ago, and sent Lisa an email when it wasn't on offer.  Fortunately, I am well enough fixed for now, and there are plenty of other fish in the Shave Soap Sea.
Just spoke with her.  She’s making another batch soon.

I agree with mrdoug that it is great news.  Thanks for the 411.

Explaining to my wife why I have eighteen kilos of shave soap stowed under the bed is tricky. I’m not naturally a hoarder. Far from it. In fact, I go through spells when I try to discard at least one item from the shack each day. Maybe it’s a pair of shoes, or a book, or some plates, or whatever. It doesn’t really matter as long as I move one thing out of the house. But something about shaving has really got its hooks in me, and I think it’s the scents. I just plain enjoy these little pots of fragrance. Compared to a bottle of perfume, a tub of soap is cheap, and, as I tell my wife, it’s actually practical. So when I get one that works wonderful and smells as good as this Santal Absolut, I've hit the jackpot! All the happy parts in my brain light up, and I just can’t help but try my luck again. And boom, I'm back prowling the market to find something as good, if not better.

The scent in this - amazing. I don't care that it is synthetic. It is beautiful. I prefer it to AOS Sandalwood. The Fine is more 'cologney' I am still angry I didn't stockpile the crap out of this. Frank is my only hope -
