Several years ago when I first opened this tub of soap, I completely missed the frankincense. It was hidden under a bushel of limes. But now all that citrus has begun to burn off, and the incense is coming up front and center. It’s lovely.

I have a handful of pucks I will never be without. And this is one - great performance, great scent, great post, and love the packaging. In the Tuscan region for 10 days - she is the only tub I brought. The TSA idiot tried to confiscate at the gate. I guess he thought a 60 year old white guy was smuggling C4 on the plane? I went grouchy old man mode and convinced him it was not gel/liquid.... .in the meantime, they missed the razor blades in my dop kit. WTH.

Have a good week boys

It pains me every time I use the Mitchell’s Will Fat.  Awesome coffret with amazing graphics and the soap is so very nice.  Good slickness and the scent is Devine.  I’ve heard it described as soapy but to me if soap smelled like this I’d wash all the time.  I’ve heard it said the scent is light but my experience has been the scent is about mid strong.  It’s reportedly hard to lather but I’ve luckily never had an issue with it and my water is so hard gravel comes out of the faucet. And it’s a triple milled hard hockey puck of a soap which as you know, I adore. I really need to set this one out so it gets it’s due.  (And a big ol fattie boar knot?  You kidding me?)

I haven’t had the good experiences everyone else shares with Grooming Department but I sure can appreciate your TSA experience!  Hahaha.  Would have loved to see the vid of that one.  A wet shaver going spider-monkey on TSA would be great.  Shoot, they might already have the vid loaded for training.  Glad they missed your blades and I know they can’t be perfect but come on!  They almost confiscated your shave soap and they did take from me a 6 inch crescent wrench I used to travel with because it was a weapon!  Those adjustable wrenches are wicked weapons.  I went a but “old man” on him asking what he thought I might do with it?  Loosen some seats until they flew me to Havana?  A month later my daughter flew with a 10  inch chef knife she wanted me to rehandle.  It was in her carry one and sailed right through.  But soap?  Oh no….

I'm with you... the scent is not light. Not strong either, but definitely hard to miss.

Unscented? Get tested.
